I found the IS Innovation course to be an interesting one, I learned alot from the presentations made by fellow class mates in the tutorials re emerging technologies and found that knowledge useful as a student about to enter the industry. I believe knowledge gained from this course have given me an edge into venturing in entrepreneurship. I also found the guest lecture interesting and think it has impacted me and my outlook on the industry.
I believe the only problem I had with the course was with the weekly Labs. I did not consider them to be labs even, as they were mostly theory based, only that they were being done electronically. I found that stuff we did in the labs were things we could learned on our own, and would have learned if ever the need presented itself. Hence, I don't think the course needed a lab component.
Overall it was an OK course and I had no challenges with the lab project.
